Thanks to such a loan, the employer is able to employ an unemployed person, including those who are registered in the program. Equally, the same employer has the right to apply for this type of loan if you plan to employ several people. How much can you borrow?
The loan amount is not set at a given level. 6 times the average salary is within reach, and this is reported and updated every month. For example: the average monthly salary in the enterprise sector in February 2019 was USD 4,949.42, so you can apply for almost USD 30,000. Borrowed funds must be repaid within a maximum of 3 years.
According to bank (he plays the role of coordinator of loans), “the interest rate on loans per year is 0.25 of the rediscount rate of bills of exchange accepted by the National Bank and is constant throughout the loan period”. Another plus is that the borrower does not incur commissions and fees for the activities related to granting and servicing loans throughout the financing period.
What can you get a loan from theprogram?
In this case, it is a loan whose purpose has already been set. It is to be used to create a new job for the unemployed. With this money you should buy everything that is necessary for a new employee in his workplace, ie equipment (eg desk, chair, computer with software when it is office work), machines and equipment and equipment with which he will be employed he used in his work.
Who can get a loan?
Not only micro, small, medium and large enterprises can apply for a loan. Private schools and kindergartens also have such an opportunity. Just like nurseries and children’s clubs, caring for children up to 3 years old. Whoever runs a farm and already has at least one full-time employee may also apply for this loan. The fact that someone has previously received a loan to start a business does not exclude him from applying for further support.
Who will not get a loan?
If the entrepreneur is in arrears with social security contributions, health insurance, Labor Fund, Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund or other contributions, there is no chance of obtaining a loan on preferential terms to create a job for the unemployed. Also, since he was previously granted a loan to start a business, but he does not pay the installments on time, he will not get a loan to hire new people. If the person concerned has been convicted in the last 2 years for offenses against economic turnover, he is also in a lost position.
What does the procedure look like?
Interested in a loan for the creation of a job for the “ordinary” unemployed (and therefore the one whose name appears in the program, but it is not the office that directs it), submits a loan application to the financial intermediary. Bank indicates financial intermediaries dealing with loan services. Information on intermediaries can be obtained at a specific intermediary or checked on the bank’s portal. The submitted documents must include, among others cost estimate for the job being created. You must also provide the form of collateral for repayment of the loan requested. This is in case of possible problems with paying the installments
In the case of creating a job for the unemployed, which is managed by the poviat labor office, the applicant has an additional obligation – attach the opinion of the program. The broker must indicate from among those registered in his database those unemployed who have qualifications compatible to perform work in the job to be created.
Then it remains to wait. Within two weeks of submitting a complete application, the employer finds out if he has been granted support. If so, it appears again at the broker to sign the required documents.
Breach of contract
A company that has benefited from a loan on preferential terms has the task of maintaining a job for the unemployed for at least a year, for which the money was given to it. However, if the employer does not guarantee employment for a year, but decides on shorter employment of this employee, he violates the terms of the previously signed contract. Thus, he must explain the situation and make a refund of the outstanding amount. He has six months to do this from the date of the refund request.
